Welcome to Trovato.
These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website and the purchase of products from Trovato. By accessing this website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please refrain from using our website. Trovato reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. Updates will take effect upon publication.

Our Approach
Trovato is a design-led furniture and interiors brand shaped by a respect for proportion, materiality and longevity. Many of our pieces are made to order, produced in small runs, or crafted using natural materials. Variations in tone, grain, texture and finish are inherent to the character of these materials and form part of their integrity. Slight variations between imagery and delivered product may occur due to screen calibration and lighting conditions, natural material variation, manufacturing tolerances, or evolving production refinements. These variations are not considered faults.

Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

Pricing & Payment
All prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to adjust pricing at any time. Payment must be received in full prior to dispatch unless otherwise agreed in writing. We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order in the event of pricing errors, unavailability, or suspected fraudulent activity. If an order is cancelled after payment, a full refund will be issued.

Gift Cards
Trovato gift cards are issued electronically and delivered via email to the recipient nominated at the time of purchase. Gift cards are valid for a period of three (3) years from the date of issue, in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.

Gift cards may be redeemed online at www.trovato.au and may be used toward the purchase of available products, subject to stock availability. If the purchase amount exceeds the gift card balance, the remaining amount must be paid using an alternative payment method.

Gift cards are non-refundable, cannot be exchanged for cash, and cannot be used to purchase additional gift cards unless required by law. Any unused balance will remain available until the expiry date.

Products purchased using a gift card are subject to Trovato’s standard Returns & Exchanges Policy. Where a refund is approved, the value will be returned to a gift card or issued as store credit.

Trovato is not responsible for lost, stolen, or unauthorised use of gift card codes. Gift cards should be treated as cash.

Trovato reserves the right to amend these terms where reasonably required, subject to applicable consumer laws.

Orders & Availability
An order is confirmed once you receive written confirmation from Trovato. Many pieces are made to order or produced in limited quantities. Lead times provided are estimates only and may vary due to manufacturing schedules, international freight and customs, supplier delays, public holidays and seasonal closures. We will communicate any significant delays.

Delivery & Access
Delivery costs are calculated at checkout or quoted separately for larger furniture items. It is your responsibility to ensure safe and suitable access, confirm dimensions fit through entryways, lifts and stairwells, and arrange appropriate assistance if required. Additional charges may apply where access has not been adequately considered or where re-delivery is required. Risk passes to you upon delivery.

Returns & Change of Mind
Due to the considered nature of our collections, we do not offer refunds for change of mind. Return requests may be reviewed at our discretion and may incur a restocking fee and return freight costs. Made-to-order, custom, and sale items are not eligible for return. This does not affect your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

Faults & Claims
All products are carefully inspected prior to dispatch. If you believe a product is faulty, you must notify us within 48 hours of delivery and provide clear photographs and a written description of the issue. We will assess all claims in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.

Care & Installation
Care guidance is provided where relevant. Proper care and maintenance are required to preserve the integrity of the materials. Where installation is required (including wall-mounted items), appropriate fixings into timber studs or masonry must be used. Trovato is not responsible for damage resulting from incorrect installation or use.
